Conduct on-site investigations to assess structural damage, material failures, construction defects, and building performance issues. Perform engineering analyses, calculations, and modeling to determine causation and contributing factors. Prepare high-quality technical reports, opinions, and presentations suitable for legal and insurance audiences. Provide expert testimony in depositions, mediations, and trials as needed. Collaborate with attorneys, claims professionals, contractors, and design teams to support case strategy and resolution. Maintain thorough documentation and ensure all findings meet industry and professional standards. Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE) license required. Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline (Master’s preferred). 5+ years of engineering experience; forensic or inspection experience is a strong advantage. Strong knowledge of building codes, construction practices, and failure mechanisms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
