Comfortable working in both classic editor and block editor environments. Experience with large multisite WordPress networks and Full Site Editing. Experience with PHP and cross-browser development/testing. Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
We are seeking a WordPress Temporary Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on building responsive pixel-perfect designs based on Adobe XD or Figma using WordPress Full Site Editing. You will collaborate closely with ITS - Digital Services Team to meet project deadlines and ensure seamless integration and performance. Additionally, you will work with the *** Digital Accessibility Office to ensure all websites meet WCAG AA standards.

Strong problem-solving skills/debugging and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders. Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to WordPress. Experience working with digital accessibility standards that meet WCAG AA standards. Extensive knowledge of WordPress plugins such as Events Calendar and Advanced Custom Fields, with an emphasis on minimizing plugin usage.
