We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Structural Welder/Fabricator (D1.1 Certified) to join our dynamic team in Chandler, AZ. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity of our projects while working with a variety of materials and techniques.
## Responsibilities
Perform welding and fabrication tasks on structural steel components according to D1.1 standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to execute projects accurately.
Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding machines.
Inspect and assess welds for quality and compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Assist in training and mentoring junior welders and fabricators as needed.
QualificationsCurrent D1.1 certification is required.
Proven experience as a structural welder/fabricator, preferably in a manufacturing or construction setting.
Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Physical stamina and strength to perform welding tasks and lift heavy materials.
