Overview We are seeking a Sales Representative to support continued business growth and expansion. This is an additional headcount position created in preparation for future business growth.
The role is responsible for B2B sales of industrial filtration products across various industries, including both new business development and existing account management.
Sales focus: approximately 70% new business development and 30% existing account management.
Responsibilities include client visits, technical product explanations, solution-based product proposals, distributor support, and relationship management. Business travel throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico may be required.
Responsibilities - Develop new business opportunities with prospective clients and distributors through outreach, including cold calling
- Manage and grow relationships with existing U.S. clients and distributors
- Conduct B2B sales activities for industrial filtration products
- Sell imported in-house and third-party filtration products
- Conduct meetings with clients and distributors
- Train distributors and accompany them on client visits, including factories and R&D sites
- Identify and develop new distributors and sales channels
- Conduct market research through trade shows, industry sources, and online research
- Provide interpretation and translation support as needed
- Report sales activities, forecasts, and performance regularly
- Participate in internal meetings and annual sales planning
Requirements - Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

- Willingness to travel throughout the U.S. and internationally
- Valid passport required for potential business travel to Canada and Mexico
Qualifications - Native-level English
- Valid driver's license required
Preferred Qualifications - Basic Japanese
- Experience in industrial products or consumables sales
- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment or filtration products
- Trade/logistics knowledge
- Willingness to engage in new business development within the alcohol industry, including building relationships with wineries to promote one of the company's key products, filtration systems
Work Conditions - Employment: Full-time, Exempt
- Working Hours: 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
- Work Style: Onsite daily during the initial 3-month training period; hybrid thereafter (minimum 2 days/week onsite)
- Travel: Approximately 1-2 times per month, typically 3-5 days per trip; may include travel within the U.S., Canada, and Mexico
- Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus
