Responsibilities
As a
Construction Superintendent , you will:
- Oversee and manage commercial interior construction projects from inception through completion.
- Ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency on all job sites.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, subcontractors, and vendors to achieve project goals.
- Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving by anticipating and addressing project challenges.
- Uphold project schedules and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractor activities to maintain workflow, quality, and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent , specifically within commercial interior construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, sequencing, and safety regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively manage field teams and stakeholders.
- Strong familiarity with New York City building codes and construction regulations.
- Ability to troubleshoot on-site challenges with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, MEP, and construction drawings.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience in commercial interior construction.
- 62-Hour SST Supervisor Card (Required)
- Proven experience managing private-sector commercial renovation projects in New York City.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
